Ålandstrafiken's ferries provide a cheap and easy way to reach Lappo, and they operate several times a day. The route is particularly popular among motorists and cyclists.

When travelling from mainland Finland the routes are Vuosnainen - Åva (Palosaari) with M/S Viggen and Torsholma - Siphon with M/S Alfågeln or M/S Spoven. When travelling from Åland the route is from Hummelvik via Enklinge and Kumlinge with M/S Alfågeln.
